#1 - Cryptex Weekly Newsletter
Informing the Community about the latest developments from Cryptex, creators of Total Crypto Market Cap token, TCAP.
Hello everyone, welcome to the first weekly Cryptex newsletter! These newsletters will include active proposals, projects and snippets from our previous community call. If you have any questions for the team or the community you can find us on:
Proposals
Governance proposals can be found and created here.
CIP-2 Passes Snapshot Vote
CIP-2 is a proposal suggesting Cryptex create an incentivized Sushi Pool with TCAP and DAI. The scripts are now ready. Soon the contracts will be deployed and rewards will launch.
CIP-6 Proposal Created
CIP-6 proposes a Polygon integration. Deploying on Polygon would grow the accessibility of TCAP and make it available to more people. As of now Oracles on Mumbai Network have been requested. The frontend and contracts for testnet are a work in progress.
Governor Alpha Migration
The current Governor Alpha governance smart contract doesn’t allow execution or transfer of ETH on the treasury. This means that payroll and grants on ETH are not possible. An upgrade of the Governor, now called Beta, is going to be deployed and given the ability to make proposals to the timelock.
Projects
If you’re interested in building and growing Cryptex, you can find the current list of projects we need help with on our GitHub. Simply assign yourself to a project to get started and let the community know you’re leading it. At the end of each month, on a platform called Coordinape, you’ll have the opportunity to share what you’ve contributed and get rewarded for it! We’ll have a medium post soon with more details about it.
